Napoli's Federico Fernandez is reported to have been absent from training today to avoid picking up injuries ahead of permanent move to Swansea
...well we said this one was rumbling on! Italian media are reporting that Swansea target Federico Fernandez missed training with Napoli today, and if true this seems to just be a matter of time until the Argentinian joins up with the squad.
In a remarkable twist, Napoli are also now apparently interested in Jonathan De Guzman! There's quite a few serendipitous transfer rumours going on this summer, and I'm sure Jono would fancy Naples and the Champions League over QPR and, well...QPR.
As for Fernandez, hopefully the Swans can wrap this one up in the next few days. If Saturday was anything to go by a centre-back and a defensive midfielder should be top of our priority lists.
