Dutch club this morning confirmed the two clubs have agreed a fee of around 8.5million Euros for their young striker
It seems our transfer activity is getting underway in earnest this morning! Dutch journalist Steffan Coerts has this morning tweeted saying that FC Twente have confirmed the two clubs have reached agreement over Luc Castaignos:
#Twente have confirmed that Netherlands U-21 striker Luc #Castaignos is on his way to #Swansea. Transfer fee in region of €8.5m. #swans

If true it means we're spending an awful lot of money on a second striker. A hell of a statement of intent, and with Leon signing on today, contract talks with Ash finally underway and more transfer activity to come, it could well be a busy summer yet. Twente's chairman had this to say, which makes me think it's a matter of time until it's officially announced:
"The choice is always up to the player, but the clubs can work it out"

Is it wise to spend that much money on someone who will ultimately be playing second fiddle to Bony? Or does this indicate we'll almost definitely be playing with two up top next season? Get in touch using the comment section below!
