Montero: "Monk has put everything in place for us to beat United"

Swansea winger confident of completing a famous double

Heading into a match against Manchester United you can never be too confident of a result, but flyer Jefferson Montero feels his boss has made adequate preparations for the Swans to claim all three points, and in doing so complete a famous double having won the counterpart fixture at Old Trafford on the opening day of the season:

“Manchester United are one of the biggest and most powerful clubs in the world, so you want to play against these teams. It’s something you will tell your children and grandchildren about - that you have played against some of the best in the world.
“We are looking forward to the game. We are very focused and the manager has put everything in place so that can we can beat Manchester United.”

Montero also revealed that after a bit of a culture shock, he's loving playing in what he feels is the best league in the world:

“For me, it’s the best league in the world. I love the Premier League. It’s very different to the leagues I’ve played in. It’s much faster, more disciplined tactically and it’s about attacking and defending.
“I’m enjoying playing in the Premier League although it was not easy acclimatising in such a short space of time. But my wife, child and myself are very happy so it’s been a very good experience so far.”
